Neon dance, light and shadow, igniting the bright glory of Ice City! On the evening of February 7, 2025, the Ninth Asian Winter Games opened ceremoniously in Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province. President Xi Jinping attended the opening ceremony and announced the opening of the Asian Winter Games. Frontier Culture, as the main creative team, adhering to the spirit of “integration, bearing, diversity”, created for the audience a shocking opening ceremony full of oriental flavor, but also a blend of modern technology.

In the main venue, tens of thousands of strings of “snowflakes” were suspended in the air, and each snowflake refracted fantastic colors, together weaving a crystal clear world of illusions. Through the light and shadow technology, the limited venue was expanded into an infinite world, immersing the audience in a dreamlike ice and snow kingdom.

The opening ceremony of the cultural and artistic performances to “ice and snow with the dream, Asia with the same heart” as the theme, carrying the “Asian style, Chinese style, Longjiang characteristics, the charm of the city of ice,” the creative concept, showing the Asian people unity and love, hand in hand with the spirit of the spirit of progress.

Ice lanterns, as a cultural symbol of the North and a childhood memory for many, were skillfully integrated into the opening ceremony narrative. A small ice lantern with a small amount of shimmering light in the hands of a young girl leads to light up the big ice lantern in the center of the stage, symbolizing the passing on of the fire of ice and snow sports and igniting the hope for the future.

The Opening Ceremony demonstrated the “burning speed” of China's ice and snow sports, perfectly combining sports and stage art through innovative technologies such as CNC light-emitting costumes, anti-gravity devices, time slicing and bullet time. Actors shuttled between light and shadow at great speed, as if bringing the audience into a real ice race, so that the beauty of speed and power is revealed to the fullest.

At the Ice World venue, children and the champion torchbearer lit the main torch tower “Snow Lilac”, which symbolizes unity and dreams. In an instant, the flames jumped up, shining brightly in the ice and snow world, witnessing the brilliant blossoming of Asia's ice and snow dream.

The opening ceremony used CKC-Wash ZB19 (Shaking Head Dyeing 1940), with excellent RGBW dyeing effect, 4~60° large range of accurate light spreading and smooth color transitions, giving the ice world a flowing life and adding a touch of brilliant color to the brilliant moments of the Asian Winter Games.
