When we think of light, we tend to associate it with emotions.

——How to use light to interpret the plot and express emotions!

However, to convey a story or feeling through the illusion of light and shadow, it requires creators to inject ingenuity and effort. This is also the case with “Nest”. Instead of deliberately informing the viewer of the story line and understanding of the work through text, we hope that the viewer will find the answer from the work itself under the general theme setting, and of course they will also have their own unique interpretation of the work. Such an empathy and tacit understanding is the greatest comfort to the designers, and it is also precious!

Throughout the show, the four chapters of “Interstellar Search, Obstruction, Reorganization, and Home Reconstruction”, the design of each chapter, each story line, as far as possible, to use music to convey the mood and convey the message through the light, to set the color tone, to arrange the rhythm, to set up the composition, to conceptualize the picture, the purpose of all of which is to distinguish the characteristics of each of the four chapters, but also to distinguish between the four chapters of the show. In fact, our overall design conceptualization and planning is “step by step! Starting from a “tail light” on one of the “ships”, it will be lit up one by one, spreading to the whole “fleet”. “Interstellar search” in the curtain on the galaxy pattern, that is through the ship pane to see the galaxy outside the ship, and sometimes across the back of a beam of light, is the embodiment of the ship in the galaxy of high-speed shuttling, the ship also started from the beginning of the solo flight after the gradual tacit understanding, to the back of the whole group of the fleet of neatly assembled through, step by step! In the “initial obstruction”, after the first time the ships together, along with a sudden alarm, instant disintegration, the light cut off like dark, the fleet in the weightless space out of control, sinking and floating, a silence; “regrouping”, a white light across all the ships one by one, that is the It was the light of hope, the light that rekindled the spirit of fighting and the will of the people! Then the fleet woke up, the formation was gradually neat and tidy, the lights stepped on the tight heavy beat, as if stepping on a resounding step forward, that moment is called imperative! The bright colors in “Home Reconstruction”, the leaping prismatic flashes, the whole flash clustered like a song all over the place, that is the moment of celebration!

The biggest shock to the audience in the design of The Home is the change brought about by the machinery, the use of machinery can maximize the change of space, so as not to let the audience produce visual fatigue.

The machinery in “Home ” is also part of the lighting, and the dancing machinery changes the core lighting position all the time. In the set space and time, the addition of machinery adds more possibilities and fluidity to the limited physical space in front of us!

According to different music rhythm needs, picture composition needs, modeling and form sense needs, CNC modeling, start and stop and dynamic time are “reason” can be based on. Under the support of CNC, the lamps can get rid of the constraints of fixed installation, and the lamps can show a greater dynamic range and more possibilities. At the beginning of the show, all things are shown one by one, and the CNC starts to be a semi-hidden state, according to the principle of the visual center to deploy the proportion of light, to achieve a harmonious and balanced existence of the CNC.

The sudden collapse of the fleet in the “initial construction of the obstruction”, even if the light fixtures in the collection of light, CNC support is also very good to create a sense of weightlessness and sense of sinking and floating. CNC for lighting design, itself is an elastic device, when not in use quietly tightened, when used to make the stage more flexible space, more possibilities, more interesting!

The Home - is the continuation of the story

Home continues last year's theme and is the second work of CKC's intergalactic series of themed light shows, allowing the series to continue to heat up and explore more possibilities of this theme. Last year it was “The Skywalker”, which was created from a small and big view of the universe, and today “The Home” is endowed with stronger vitality and emotion, defying the darkness, unity and advancement, common achievement, and the continuation of life!

“It is worth mentioning that this time, we specifically set the organizer's LOGO - CKC, in the middle of the screen, but also the left and right, up and down the light position of the intersection of the cross point; its LOGO size, we designed according to its can be complete through the CNC six deformation of the holes. So in the process of the show, we define it as a part of the screen needs, of course, will not not light but also will not always light. Every time it lights up, it is necessary for the picture and the rhythm and emotion. At the same time, with the logo as the point, presenting a radial shape, also has the meaning of intersection, light effects sometimes focus on this, and sometimes this dispersal, we hope that the viewers who rush past can enter our work - “Nest”, also into the “CKC”! When you leave, you will leave an impression of Nest and a mark of CKC.”

The technological spaceship that carries hope among the stars also has a fine division of internal areas, and the light and shadow work “New Life” displayed by CKC at the GETshow is also a part of the ecological area of the spaceship. Interstellar travel is boring and dangerous, and people can't help but miss the scenery of their hometowns. With the design concept of “Spring carries the base color, the beginning of everything, and the rebirth of everything”, “New Life” simulates the ecological cultivation space inside the nest interstellar spaceship, and makes the work “light, fog, and vegetation” have the power to heal the heart! light, fog and vegetation” to give the work the power to heal the heart!
